The event began with a worship ritual to pay respect to the sacred sites of Burapha University, followed by a Buddhist ceremony and almsgiving of rice and dried food to nine invited monks. The monks chanted prayers to bless the Library and its staff, after which meals were offered to the monks, and participants shared a lunch together.<br \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In addition, the ceremony featured the presentation of honorary pins and the announcement of the results of the 7S Area Contest.
